Paying for College Workshop to be Held on June 14

Date: Wednesday, June 14, 3 - 4 p.m.

Wells Fargo's Casey Galindo with Wells Fargo will be presenting a workshop called Paying for College, for helpful guidance on navigating the many options available to help pay for higher education. Join the Money Management Program's workshop.

Williams from LUTV News to Receive Congressional Commendation

Date: Friday, June 16, 4 - 6:30 p.m.
Location: University Theatre

Gordon Williams from LUTV News will be receiving a congressional commendation from the office of U.S. Representative Brian Babbin in recognition of the work that Williams has done for LU and for highlighting the Black experience and history in the region.

Graduate Students in Final Thesis/Dissertation Course Must Register for Short Workshop

Deadline: Thursday, June 15

Students in their final thesis or dissertation course are required by the College of Graduate Studies to register for a short workshop and participate in editing a final document for ProQuest upload with graduate editing staff. More information is available.

Lamar University announces 2023-2024 Ambassadors

Lamar University recently selected 22 students to serve as Lamar Ambassadors. They will join 28 returning ambassadors in representing the student body at official university functions during the 2023-24 academic year.
